CCleaner is a perfect utility for removing a lot of gunk from your computer. It removes:
- Internet Explorer: temp files, cookies, history, recenty typed URLs, last download location, autocomplete form data, and empties index.dat files
- Windows Explorer: list of recent documents, list of programs run from the start menu, search autocomplete, and other Explorer MRUs
- System: Empties the recycle bin, temp files, clipboard, memory dumps, Chkdsk File Fragments, Windows Log Files, and more
